Why this Web site? We like to spread knowledge about this and about the existing labour standard of the Philippines. Visitors from Europe, US and Australia know very well what a standard of working conditions is and how important it is for the wellbeing of man, that there is a fair division between time of your own, sleep and work, under decent conditions. We are also sure that the employers at these beach resorts are quite aware of this minimum standard. Why many of them don’t follow these standards we don’t know. We hope the employers give these matters some thoughts and ask themselves - why? Visitors from…. ….Australia, Europe and US know very well what decent conditions are. Working conditions like 15 hours a day all days of the year, for only one ore two US-dollar a day are hard to find in Europe, Australia or US. Conditions can not be changed over one night but with some help from visitors, courage from the Philippine people and some decent employers, there will be a change. Resort owners from abroad, who already know what good conditions are, can set a good example. Give this some thought
